Carol Is Able To Experience Life At Her Own Pace As A Financial Consultant And Agency Leader. Travelling, Picking Up New Hobbies, And Being There For Her Loved Ones Have Widened Her Perspective Of Life

Carol loves having new experiences, including travelling and participating in different activities.

As a financial consultant, Carol has autonomy over her work schedule. This gives her the freedom to experience different things, meet family obligations, and take personal time off when necessary.

Vision Advisory has given Carol the space to widen her perspective of life.

At 16, Carol visited Miyazaki, Japan for an exchange program.

Immersed in Japanese culture, she attended the local school and explored the area.

Carol thrives on such experiences.

As an individual with a wide range of interests, she sought a career that aligned with her personality.

She dislikes being confined to narrow roles or expectations by society.

Upon graduating from SMU, Carol joined VA Group.

She is a firm believer in charting your own journey.

The main reason she stayed long in the industry as a Certified Financial Planner and team leader is the lifestyle it affords.

Carol enjoys activities and experiences from scuba diving to horseback riding and more.

Pre-pandemic, she would set off on monthly adventures, from extended periods in Australia to spontaneously jetting off to nearby destinations.

She loves visiting her friends overseas, embarking on new adventures together, making the most of any gaps in her schedule.

Her professional journey and passion for travel and adventure evolved in tandem.

Her dedication to work also rewarded her with incentive trips to captivating places like Barcelona, Hawaii, Amsterdam, and many others throughout the years.

Freedom means more than just enjoyment. Carol values the flexibility to arrange her schedule around her family, particularly her ageing parents’ medical appointments.

In addition, when she went through a year-long medical leave herself, she witnessed the true benefits of her career.

Her income remained stable despite her absence.

This contrasts with traditional corporate roles where income often relies on physical presence and strict 9-5 obligations.

This profession demands a certain level of mental toughness and perspective. As a result, her sense of empathy has grown and matured over the years.

This career shaped Carol significantly. She gets to see the world, engage in different activities, and care for her ageing parents.

It also aided in processing her medical crisis.

Above all, she has the luxury of experiencing these in a nurturing environment.
